On Thursday nights beginning September 9, our Girlhood Study resumes, focusing on many different and practical steps to help young girls become godly women. 2010 - The Year of the Family
At AWC we're all about restoring relationships with God through Jesus Christ. We do this by connecting with God and connecting people with God through worship and other activities designed to help us know God better and love Him more.In 2010 we are focusing on how to strengthen the family of God and individual families as we look at how to love God the way we should and how to love others as we should. Jesus said,
"The most important (commandment) is this: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
It's our goal to help people have healthy relationships with God and people, based on the Word of God, the Bible.
We invite you to check out the church and its ministries. We are committed to helping people become healthy followers of Christ, living authentic Christian lives. We believe the church should be relevant to contemporary society without sacrificing the timeless truths of Jesus Christ.
Our services feature a blend of contemporary and traditional music, and relevant, practical messages designed to help us live out the Bible in our everyday living. We dress casually, and we work hard to make sure the atmosphere in our church is inviting to all who join us for worship.
If there is any way we can help you, particularly if you have questions about God, Jesus Christ, the Bible, or the Wesleyan Church, please don't hesitate to contact us.
